Various famous attractions like the White House, Bald Eagle Memorial, etc. are also within a walking distance from the hotel.

Our room at the hotel had a very modern décor with mostly neutral tones and some great lighting, including the concealed lights under the bed which gave them the effect of levitation, which made it one of the best suites in Washington DC for me.

The marble bathroom was extremely spacious and both the bathtub and shower areas were also amazing.

We could also see a beautiful view from the large windows in our room and we were given access to amenities such as a TV, toiletries, etc.

There were a couple of restaurants on-site and we had some great meals at them.

We both also enjoyed the well-equipped fitness center as well as the spa facilities at the hotel.

They were also various activities and we could even rent bikes at the hotel.

The staff was also extremely kind to us, however, we were not provided access to free Wi-Fi.

Guests can access popular spots like Farragut Square, Lafayette Square, etc. easily. There are also plenty of eateries and places to shop nearby.

Our room at the Mayflower had a lovely modern meets regal decor with some great furniture and huge windows that let in a lot of light.

Since the room was simple and well furnished it felt even more spacious. The bathroom was also very spacious and the tub was large as well.

We were even given access to amenities such as a TV, toiletries, etc.

The restaurant on-site offered some exceptional meals to us and we even had a lot of different cuisines in the neighbourhood.

There were plenty of activities at the hotel for guests to do and we even tried out biking.

The fitness center at the hotel was very nice and well kept and we met extremely helpful staff during our visit as well. Unfortunately, we were not provided access to free Internet.

Riggs Washington DC

Placed in the heart of Washington hardly a walk away from the White House, Riggs Washington is one of the most renowned and best hotels in Washington DC for couples.

The hotel places guests near various popular spots like the National Portrait Gallery, Smithsonian American Art Museum, etc.

Our room boasted a modern meets regal decor with some bright tones and fun artworks, making it one of the best romantic boutique hotels Washington DC had to offer.

I especially adored the artistic wallpaper and the eccentric furniture that the hotel had, which made the décor unique.

The bathroom itself was also quite spacious and neat and we had access to amenities like a TV, toiletries, etc.

The two restaurants on-site both offered different cuisines, yet both were great and we liked eating there.

We also enjoyed working out in the well-equipped fitness center and the spa treatments available for the guests at the hotel were also great.

The staff that we met was extremely professional and kind to us and we were even given access to free Wi-Fi.

The Hay-Adams , Washington DC

Situated in the Northwest neighbourhood, close to various popular attractions such as the White House, this is another one of the best hotels in Washington DC for couples.

The central location of the hotel places guests very close to popular spots like Lafayette Square, Bernard Baruch Statue, etc.

There are also plenty of options for dining and shopping in the neighborhood.

Our room at the hotel had a very posh décor with mostly neutral tones and vintage style furniture.

Although I’m not a fan of vintage style decors, the perfect colors and furniture worked so well together that I loved the décor of my room at the Hay-Adams.

The bathroom was also beautiful and we were also given access to amenities like a TV, toiletries, etc.

The food at the Lafayette restaurant was delicious and we also ate out a lot since the area had a great choice of restaurants.

There were plenty of activities for us to do in the hotel and we even rented out bikes which was a fun activity for couples to do, even though it might sound dated.

The fitness center at the hotel was also great and we met with some great staff members that took care of us.

And we were even provided with free Wi-Fi, making this one of the best hotel experiences in DC for me.

The Watergate Hotel Georgetown Washington DC

Placed in the Northwest neighbourhood sitting upon the banks of the Potomac River, this is one of the best hotels in Washington DC for couples.

The location is great as guests can easily access popular tourist attractions such as the JFK Centre for Performing Arts, George Washington University, etc. There are also plenty of places for dining and shopping close by.

Our room at the hotel had a lovely modern decor with some great wooden furniture and balcony looking out to the beautiful river.

The balcony was the highlight as it displayed some beautiful sceneries both day and night.

The bathroom and the tub in the bathroom were also very spacious and we were given access to amenities such as a TV, toiletries, etc.

The hotel was one of the hotels with private hot tubs in room Washington DC.

The hotel also had an indoor pool which was neat and spacious and we also spent a lot of our time there.

The restaurant on-site offered some great meals and we especially enjoyed hanging out at the rooftop bar.

The fitness center was amazing and the spa facilities at the hotel were also great.

We met with some extremely caring and helpful staff that made our visit more convenient and we were even given access to free Wi-Fi.

Placed on the New Hampshire Avenue in the Northwest neighbourhood of DC, this is an underrated hotel which is great for couples.

The great location places guests close to various eateries as well as places to shop at.

Famous spots like the Anderson House Museum, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, etc. are also within a walking distance from the hotel.

The overall décor for our room was modern and simple and yet the addition of a few decorative pieces made it very unique.

Whether it be the brightly colored rugs or the beautiful artwork, the greenery, or the way it was furnished, the design, though eccentric, appealed to me.

The bathroom in our room was also spacious with black tiling and adequate lighting and we were even given access to amenities such as a TV, toiletries, etc.

The restaurant on-site offered some good meals to us and there were also plenty of other restaurants in the neighbourhood for us to try.

The fitness center at the hotel was also good and we also enjoyed some great evenings at the bar.

The staff at the hotel was very kind to us and we even got access to free Wi-Fi.

The Darcy Hotel Washington DC

Placed in the heart of the city in the Northwest neighbourhood, the Darcy Hotel is another one of the best hotels in Washington DC for couples.

The neighborhood has a lot of dining and shopping spots for guests to choose from.

The hotel is also at walking distance from various attractions such as Mary McLeod Bethune House, Brigadier General James B McPherson Statue, etc.

Our room at the hotel had a modern décor with basically neutral tones and various decorations with bright colours.

I love the artwork and the little details of the room which made it very unique in design, making it one of the top romantic hotels in DC with a Jacuzzi in the room.

The bathroom itself was incredibly spacious with separate bath and showering areas and we were also given access to amenities such as a TV, toiletries, etc.

The restaurant on-site offered some great meals to us and since the locality had so many options, we never ran out of good food.

The fitness center at the hotel was well equipped and well maintained. We also rented bikes and wandered around the city on them which was rather fun.

The staff at the hotel was also extremely kind to us and we were also given access to free Wi-Fi.

Hotel Zena Washington DC

Sitting in the Northwest neighbourhood of DC, Hotel Zena is an eco-friendly hotel which is a great option for couples travelling to Washington.

The location is great as guests can easily walk to popular spots like the Andrei Sakharov Plaza, B’Nai B'rith Klutznick Museum, etc.

The neighborhood also has an abundance of dining and shopping spots.

Our room at the hotel boasted a simple, modern yet quite beautiful décor with splashes of colour here and there through decorations and lighting.

The artwork and colored lighting seemed like a bad idea, but it worked well together to make the room look even more spacious and cosy.

The bathroom in our room was also very well designed and the tub was incredibly spacious.

Aside from that, we were also given access to amenities such as a TV, toiletries, etc.

There was no restaurant on-site, but since it was placed in a neighbourhood that had so many dining options, we didn't have trouble finding good food.

The rooftop bar, however, was delightful to relax at. There was also a rooftop pool in the hotel where we enjoyed spending our time.

The fitness center was also great and we met some of the kindest and helpful staff members during our stay.

As an added benefit, we even had access to free Wi-Fi, which made this a perfect spot for romantic getaways near DC.

Rosewood Washington DC

Also situated in the Northwest neighbourhood of the city, this is one of the best hotels in Washington DC for couples.

Popular tourist attractions such as the Georgetown Waterfront Park, Washington Harbour, etc are also hardly a walk away from the hotel.

There are plenty of places to dine and shop in the neighborhood as well.

Our room at the hotel featured a modern meets classy décor with neutral and warm tones as well as some lovely woodwork.

The room had large windows that let in a lot of light and the living and sleeping areas were separated.

The marble bathroom was especially beautiful and the spacious tub was also great.

This was the closest we could get to an adults-only Washington DC hotel and amenities like a TV, toiletries, coffee maker, etc. were also provided.

The pool at the hotel was unlike all other pools we had seen, not in a bad way though, I enjoyed my time there.

The pool was a rooftop pool and displayed beautiful views of the city below and was spacious and neat.

Both the restaurant and the bar offered some great meals and drinks for us. We also loved the well-equipped fitness center at the hotel and there were even spa facilities for the guests.

The staff members that we met kind and helpful to us and we even got access to free Wi-Fi.
