The hotel is in a prime location where guests can access famous tourist attractions like Water Tower Chicago, Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art, Michigan Avenue, etc. on foot.

Various restaurants and places to shop or explore are available in abundance in the neighborhood.

Upon check-in, our daughter was offered her registration form to fill and a kid passport. She even received a complimentary toy on arrival which gave her company during our stay.

The room itself was splendid with a spacious bed, modern décor and wooden furniture.

The window lets in lots of light and the neutral color theme was pretty. The bathroom was also good and we were given amenities such as a TV, toiletries, free Wi-Fi, etc.

The pool of the hotel was huge and extremely clean and my daughter also enjoyed the activities present for kids including movies, art and craft, etc.

She loved the clubroom and spent a lot of time there, giving us plenty time to rest and unpack.

We also enjoyed the food at Allium and loved the spa facilities as well. The staff was friendly to us throughout our stay.

Swissotel Chicago

Situated in Chicago Loop, the Swissotel Chicago is a luxury hotel that offers high-end accommodation and services to its visitors.

It is very close to Aon Centre, Chicago Tribune Tower, Bridgehouse and Chicago River Museum and various other popular tourist attractions.

Guest can also access various good restaurants, shopping spots as well as places to explore close by.

Our daughter was offered her Very Important Kid check-in form upon arrival. Our room was spacious and bright due to the large windows; the colour scheme was neutral warm.

The room had a modern yet classy look and there was wooden furniture. We were also provided children's DVDs and a stuffed animal which my daughter loved.

The bathroom was also nice and we were provided amenities like a TV, work area, toiletries, etc.

The food at The Palm restaurant on-site was extremely delicious and we liked the fitness centre as well.

Our daughter often enjoyed the décor of the hotel and loved the view from our window too.

The staff was also very friendly and helpful to us and we were given access to free Wi-Fi.

Loews Chicago Hotel

Situated on the North Park Drive in Streeterville, The Loews Chicago is a well-recognized hotel that is one of the best luxury hotels in Chicago for families with one of the oldest kid-friendly programs ever.

The location is great as various popular attractions such as the Chicago Tribune Tower, Wrigley Building, Time-Life Building, etc. are at walking distance from the hotel.

There is also an abundance of eateries, shopping spots and places to explore in the neighborhood.

Our daughter was given cookies and milk and children’s DVDs upon arrival which delighted her greatly.

Our room had a modern décor with a hint of classy-vintage element and the colour theme was mainly black and white with wooden furniture.

The bed was spacious and comfortable and the ceiling-to-floor windows let in lots of natural light.

The bathroom was nice and spacious and we were given access to amenities such as a TV, toiletries, free Wi-Fi, etc.

The pool at the hotel was large and perfectly heated and we as well as our daughter enjoyed having fun in the water.

She also enjoyed the food at ETA Bar & Restaurant and the meals were good. The fitness center was extremely well equipped and the staff that took care of us was extremely kind and helpful.

Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago

Situated in River North, this hotel is a 5-star hotel which comes under some of the best hotels in Chicago due to its high-end service and accommodations for its guests.

The hotel is merely a walk away from Chicago Tribune Tower, Marina City, Chicago Vietnam Veterans Memorial, etc.

Guests can also access various good restaurants, places to shop and places to explore in the neighborhood.

Our daughter received a kiddy backpack with a colouring book, a stuffed toy and even some cookies in it.

The room we stayed in was a beautiful and spacious room with modern décor and cooler tones with lots of greys.

The décor was very regal and the huge windows displayed a stunning view of the city since we were on one of the higher floors.

The bathroom was great as well and we were provided with amenities such as a TV, toiletries, free Wi-Fi, etc.

We loved the large heated pool and our daughter spent most of her time either there or in our room admiring the city.

The fitness centre was also very well equipped and spacious. We liked the meals at Terrace 16 and were able to enjoy a beautiful nighttime view as we visited in the season it is usually functioning in.

We also met very helpful and nice staff who made the stay even more memorable.

The Ritz-Carlton Chicago

Situated in Streeterville, The Ritz-Carlton is premiere hotel that is known for its high-end services and is hence considered one of the best 5-star hotels in Chicago.

Guests can visit popular attractions like Water Tower Place, Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art, 360 Chicago, Michigan Avenue, etc. on foot.

There are also plenty of restaurants, shopping spots and touring spots to choose from in the vicinity.

Upon arrival, our kid was offered a toy to keep which she loved. Our room was modern and had a neutral color theme with plenty of light coming in from the large windows.

The bed was also spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was also beautiful. We were provided with amenities like a TV, toiletries, a work area, etc.

One fun thing was that our daughter received candies from the candy cart that showed up and received milk and cookies at turndown.

The pool was huge and clean, as expected of one of the best luxury hotels in Chicago for families.

We also loved the fitness centre and spa facilities. We loved the food at the restaurant while our daughter devoured her kiddie meals and drew in her drawing book.

We also found the staff very helpful and kind, however, we did not have access to free Wi-Fi.

Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel Chicago

Situated in Chicago Loop, this hotel by Radisson is arguably one of the best areas to stay in Chicago with family.

The hotel is hardly a walking distance from popular tourist attractions such as Millennium Park, Harris Theatre, Aon Centre, Maggie Daley Park, etc.

Guests can also find a variety of restaurants, places to shop as well as places to explore close by, making it one of the best luxury hotels in Chicago for families.

We booked a special camping pack as we had heard a lot about it and it did not disappoint.

Our daughter had her very own indoor tent in our room with some toys and coloring books as well as sweets and snacks which kept her occupied most of the time.

Our room was a beautiful modern room with cool tones and wooden flooring as well as ample light from the ceiling-to-floor windows.

The bathroom was great as well and we had access to amenities such as a TV, toiletries, work area, etc.

There were two pools, my daughter loved the outdoor one especially and both were neat and spacious.

We also enjoyed the food from the FireLake Grill House and there was a good fitness centre there as well.

The staff that we met was very helpful and we were also given access to free wired internet.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Downtown Chicago

Situated on the East Grand Avenue, this venture by Hilton is one of the best family hotels Magnificent Mile has to offer and is hardly a block away from Magnificent Mile.

This hotel is in a neighborhood where there is no lack of dining options, shopping places and places to explore.

Guests can also visit famous attractions like the Chicago Tribune Tower, Arts Club of Chicago, Marina City, etc. that are conveniently located nearby.

Our room was a very home-like space with beautiful neutral shades, separated sleeping spaces and even a kitchenette.

I loved the woodwork and the kitchenette as the presence of a kitchenette is great for preparing healthier meals rather than eating out all the time.

The separated sleeping spaces were also convenient as they gave a sense of privacy and independence.

The bathroom was great and we were given amenities like two TVs, toiletries, etc.

The pool at the hotel was clean and moderately sized and my daughter loved playing in the water there.

The breakfast buffet was a huge hit with us as well as our daughter and we also ate a lot of home-cooked meals thanks to the kitchen.

We were able to order groceries and the staff that we met was extremely helpful and polite. We were also given access to free Wi-Fi.

Great Wolf Lodge Illinois

Located a little further from the city centre, in Gurnee, this resort is one of the only waterpark hotels in Chicago and is a must-visit spot if you are travelling with kids.

Since it is placed on the outer side of the city, it does take a while to get to famous attractions and popular eateries or shopping spots.

However, the resort itself has plenty of dining options to choose from and features a huge waterpark as well as various other activities.

Our room was clean and small-sized if compared with other hotels on the list.

Our daughter was so happy with the fact that she would get to enjoy to her heart's content visiting a waterpark each morning that she did not mind the size of the room at all.

The bathroom was also good and we were given amenities like a TV, mini-fridge, toiletries, coffee maker, etc.

The 80,000 square foot waterpark was amazing with great rides for kids and adults.

There were various other attractions other than the waterpark such as rock climbing, games, arcade, bowling alley, play area, etc.

We explored pretty much everything during our stay and there is so much to explore than going out would not even be necessary while you stay here.

There were also great meals at the restaurants and though we couldn’t try all eight of them, the ones we ate at were good.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Downtown Magnificent Mile

A venture by Hilton and one of the best family hotels in Chicago, this hotel provides great accommodation for families with added benefits for its guests.

The location is good as guests can easily access popular tourist attractions such as the Chicago Tribune Tower, Time Life Building, Arts Club of Chicago, Shops at Northbridge, etc. on foot.

There is also an abundance of restaurants, shopping areas and places to explore in the neighborhood.

Our suite was spacious and had two separate sleeping areas for us and our daughter, who took the sofa bed in the living area.

The décor was modern yet rustic and featured some great wooden furniture.

There were large windows that let in lots of light and the kitchenette had the essentials like a microwave, mini-fridge, sink, etc.

The bathroom was nice as well and we were provided with amenities such as two TVs, toiletries, a work area, etc.

The breakfast that we ate was also great and enjoyed by our daughter. She especially enjoyed the indoor swimming pool at the hotel which was neat and moderate in size.

There was also an average fitness center and sauna. This hotel cost us a lot lesser and though we did not receive over-the-top luxury services, I think it is great for families and feels a lot more home-like as compared to the others.

The staff was also kind and helpful to us, and since we booked a special package, we got access to free Wi-Fi.
