Aside from gambling and partying, the city is also home to a lot of popular attractions and there are plenty of activities to do while visiting it.

Since it is such a popular tourist spot, the city also has a huge collection of some of the finest hotels.

The most popular hotspot of the hotels is the Las Vegas Strip, which is usually the center of all action.

However, since the strip is quite busy and can get brimmed with tourists both in the day and night time, some guests prefer hotels away from the strip.

JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort and Spa

Situated in the Summerlin neighbourhood of Las Vegas, this resort is one of the best luxury hotels in Las Vegas off the strip.

Since the location is farther from the city centre, common tourist attractions can be accessible by public transport.

However, there is no lack of great restaurants as well as places to shop and explore in the nearby area.

Our room at the hotel had a very classy feel to it with mostly neutral colours and huge windows looking out some beautiful greenery.

The bathroom was also exceptionally spacious and the tub was also large.

We were also given access to amenities such as a TV, toiletries, work area, ETC.

What fascinated me the most was the huge outdoor swimming pool and the greenery in the whole resort which made it very refreshing and good to stay at.

The pool even had a waterfall and was extremely well kept. There was a wide array of restaurants to choose from and we found good meals at the ones we dined at.

The spa was also huge and offered a lot of treatments and the fitness center was also great.

There was also a casino that offered slot machines and various games. We were also given access to free Wi-Fi as well as free parking.

The staff at the hotel also treated us with the utmost care and to me, this was one of my best resort experiences in Las Vegas.

The Westin Las Vegas Resort and Spa

Placed in the Henderson neighbourhood, this hotel is undoubtedly one of the best luxury hotels in Las Vegas off the strip.

A few attractions like Lake Las Vegas are present near, however, guests would have to commute to reach the ones in the city center.

However, the location is unique and extremely beautiful and the hotel has plenty of dining options to choose from.

Our room at The Westin had beautiful modern decor with mostly neutral tones and the huge ceiling to floor windows displayed the lake beyond them which was beautiful.

The bathroom was also very spacious and well-made and we were given access to amenities such as a TV, toiletries, a work area, etc.

The hotel also had 2 pools which were both good and there were even arrangements for boating and kayaking in the lake nearby.

The various restaurants offered food that was good quality and extremely diverse.

We also liked the fitness center at the hotel as well as the spa facilities that the hotel offered.

There were also activities for guests to do and the staff at the hotel was extremely kind to us. We were also given access to free Wi-Fi and parking.

Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino

Placed on East Fremont Street, the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino is one of the best Las Vegas casino hotels off the strip.

Guests can access popular spots like the Fremont Zip Line, Container Park, etc., and various restaurants, as well as places to shop, are present in the neighborhood.

Our room had fun and modern decor with some great artwork and great quality furniture.

The huge windows also let in a lot of light and the bathroom was also spacious. We were also given access to amenities such as a TV, toiletries, workspace, etc.

The pool was spacious and nice, they even heard a shark tank there. The casino at the hotel also had a great variety of slot machines as well as games.

The fitness centre and spa facilities at the hotel were also great. There was a wide variety of restaurants which offered great meals.

The staff was also very kind to us and we were given access to free Wi-Fi and parking.

Suites at Tahiti Village Resort and Spa

Situated in the Las Vegas Boulevard South, this is one of the best resorts outside Las Vegas offers luxury accommodations to its guests.

Guests can easily take public transport to access famous attractions and the Las Vegas Strip.

The hotel is situated in an area which has an abundance of restaurants as well as places to shop at.

Our suite at the resort had a home-like layout with separated living and sleeping areas as well as a full kitchen.

I very much appreciated the kitchen as it gave us a chance to have a couple of healthy meals between the regular meals that we had outside.

The décor was very simple yet very homelike and we felt very comfortable there. We were also given access to amenities such as a TV, toiletries, work area, etc.

The swimming pool was exceptionally large with a lazy river, waterfalls, fountains and various other features including a beach, one of the features that make it one of the best Las Vegas hotels off the strip suites.

The fitness center, as well as the spa, was also great. The restaurants onsite offered some great food and since they were grocery stores nearby, we were able to cook up some great meals using the kitchen.

A room at the hotel had a classy yet modern decor to it with greys, whites and neutral tones complimented with some bright violets and blues.

The bathroom was also very spacious and neat. We were also given access to amenities such as a TV, coffee maker, toiletries, etc.

The hotel also had a great pool which was neat and spacious. We also liked the food from the restaurants on site.

The fitness center was well equipped and they were plenty of activities for the guests to do.

The staff at the hotel also helpful, however, we did not have access to free Wi-Fi.

Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino

Situated upon Paradise Road, this resort is one of the top luxury hotels in Las Vegas off the strip.

Guests can access popular attractions and the Las Vegas Strip through public transport.

There is also a shuttle service to the McCarran International Airport and there are plenty of dining options in and near the hotel as well.

Our room at the hotel had modern decor with mostly cool tones and some great furniture.

We even had a small kitchenette equipped with a microwave and coffee maker.

The bathroom was incredibly spacious with a large Jacuzzi/ hot tub. We were also given access to amenities such as a TV, toiletries, etc.

The huge casino at the hotel offered a variety of games alongside slot machines.

The pool at the hotel was also incredibly spacious and the surrounding area even had cabanas.

The wide variety of restaurants offered a huge variety of food which was great.

We also liked the fitness center as well as the spa facilities at the hotel. Aside from the various activities available for the guests to do, we were even provided with free Wi-Fi as well as free parking.

The staff at the hotel was also bright and cheerful, making it one of the best hotels off the strip in Las Vegas.

Residence Inn by Marriott Hughes Center

Placed upon Hughes Centre Drive, the Residence Inn by Marriott Hughes Centre is a hotel that provides luxury accommodation as well as services to its guests.

Popular attractions can be accessed using public transport or driving to them and various spots to eat at and shop at are placed in the neighborhood nearby.

The McCarran International Airport is also hardly 3 miles away from the hotel, one of the various reasons why this is one of the top hotels off the strip in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Our room had a simple and modern décor with mostly neutral tones, simple furniture as well as some splashes of colour here and there.

We also had a kitchen in the suite which was very convenient for me. I especially liked the décor because it felt very home-like.

The large windows looked out to the city below and the bathroom was also nice. We were also given access to amenities such as TV, toiletries, etc.

The pool at the hotel was not quite as big as the other ones on this list, however, it was clean and well maintained.

The food at the hotel itself was great and we also had plenty of meals that we cooked ourselves by buying groceries from the mini-mart.

The fitness center was great and there were also sports and activities for the guests to do.

The staff at the hotel was helpful to us throughout our stay and we were also given free Wi-Fi.

Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa

Placed in the Henderson neighbourhood of Las Vegas, this is a boutique resort and one of the top luxury resorts outside of Las Vegas.

Due to being situated that far away from the city center, guests would have to commute to reach popular attractions as well as the Las Vegas Strip, however, there are plenty of things to do in the neighborhood itself.

Our room had a classy and elegant décor to it with mostly neutral tones and some great wooden furniture.

The windows looked out to a beautiful view of the lake beyond them and we even had a balcony there with seating arrangements.

The bathroom itself was also spacious and I especially loved the overall décor, mostly because of the view.

We were also given access to amenities such as a TV, toiletries, fridge, etc.

What I loved most about the hotel was the surroundings as the greenery as well as the view of the lake was truly an outstanding sight to see, especially because you don't get to witness that in the city centre.

The pool and the gardens were also amazing and we had so much to do at the hotel itself that we didn’t go out much.

The food at the restaurant as well as the fitness center was all great. We also tried various activities like cycling and the staff was also kind to us.

We were also provided with free Internet as well as free parking, making it one of the best luxury hotels in Las Vegas off the strip.

Residence Inn by Marriott Las Vegas Henderson

Placed on Olympic Avenue in the Henderson neighbourhood of Las Vegas, this hotel is one of the best luxury hotels in Las Vegas off the strip which provides great accommodation alongside services to its guests.

Guests can access the McCarran International Airport and the Las Vegas Strip using the free shuttle service provided by the hotel.

There are also plenty of places to dine at in the nearby area.

The décor of the room was quite similar to the Residence Inn at Hughes Centre which was quite homelike and simple.

Though there were some bright colors, it wasn’t overpowering and I found this décor to be one of the best and most homelike decors in all of Vegas.

The kitchen that we were provided with was also great and very convenient to cook up meals in and the bathroom was also spacious and neat.

We are also given access to amenities such as a TV, toiletries, etc.

The pool at the hotel was moderately sized and the surrounding area was also great.

We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet at the hotel that was customizable as well.

There was a mini Mart onsite which was quite convenient to buy groceries from and cook up meals in the kitchen at our room.

The fitness center was also great and we could also barbecue outside. The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful to us and we were also given access to free Internet as well as free parking.

Conclusion

Vegas is a great place to travel to whether you are an enthusiast of nightlife or want to try out gambling or just explore the area.

The city has so much to offer in terms of activities as well as methods of entertainment.

The center of all the activities, however, is the Las Vegas Strip. Thus, the strip tends to be a lot busier and noisier and is not attractive to a few people.

For such reasons, there are also plenty of hotels to choose from in other areas than the strip.
